Making Whoopie

After polishing off a half dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies, I decided to whip up these mini whoopie pies. The thing about whoopie pies--aside from the cute name--is that they're nostalgic and always seem to bring a smile to everyone who eats them.

Thank you so much, Jackie! I am very grateful for your amazing words and I must again say that your cookies look realistic, too! So warm and chewy...as though they really came out of the oven.
Big hugs to you!
